1. Docking Capacity 800 foot dock can easily accommodate large vessels. 2. Warehouse Facility 20,000 sq. ft. warehouse with security and sprinkler systems. The warehouse is USDA approved for handling Titles II and III food commodities (PL 480). 3. Cargo Storage Large storage area and marshalling yard for containers, forest products, coated pipe, structural steel, machinery. 4. Rail Spur The Burlington-Northern rail spur gives easy access to the U.S. and Union Pacific rail system. 5. Highway Access Immediate access to the future corridor of I-49, presently Hwy 90. The Port is just one hour from Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Lafayette via the new four lane highway. |
